Scheme Process

On boarding project institutes (Colleges, Schools, Govt. ITIs)

  • Project Institutes apply offline or online (on the MIS portal) as prescribed by the National E-hub, to deliver entrepreneurship courses to their students.
  • A representative from the closest Nodal E-hub inspects the physical infrastructure of the colleges that have applied vis-à-vis the pre-defined selection criteria. On the basis of the inspection, National E-hub will select the IHL. The list of empanelled institutes will be shared with the Joint Working Group (JWG) at the state level.
  • All the empanelled IHL receive different offerings, including, curriculum, content (largely online), training and ongoing support of faculty (on line and off line), linkage to assessors and support in program delivery, etc.
  • All institutes empanelled under the scheme will get annual funds to cover the recurring expenses (Operational Expenditure - OPEX). Additionally, Government colleges will be given a one-time grant for purchase of recommended equipment (Capital Expenditure - CAPEX) along with the OPEX.
  • Each selected empanelled institute is given a secure login (User-id and password) to access LMS platform and their offerings. Through the secure login institute is also given limited access to the MIS to upload required information/ data of students, facilitators, etc.
  • Colleges are encouraged to deliver these courses to interested students of other colleges, but within 3-4 km radius.

Faculty orientation

  • Nodal E-hub organizes an Induction programme for the colleges and selected facilitators from each college attend the orientation. Facilitators recommended by the college will be selected by the closest Nodal E-hub on the basis of pre-defined criteria.
  • Thereafter, these facilitators will also attend online and classroom training at Nodal E-hubs facilitated by Nodal team and experts from industry and academia. The facilitator programme is divided into four components – Webinar, Orientation Programme, Faculty Facilitator Module and Advanced Facilitator Programme.
  • After the training, facilitators are assessed online and will be given a certificate of participation by NIESBUD.

Entrepreneurship Education/ Training programme

  • Aspirants interested in entrepreneurship have open access to world class Entrepreneurship Education and Training courses through Online Courses on this platform are designed and developed by national and international experts, and are available free of charge to everyone.
  • Apart from online content, Entrepreneurship Education and Training will be delivered in select Institutes of Higher Learning, Schools, ITIs and EDCs, wherein MOOCs will be integrated with in-class discussions and experiential learning (applications, mock businesses, internships), all facilitated by selected and trained faculty at these institutes. These student centric courses will help them acquire skills that are required to start an enterprise.
  • Orientation programme for the students is organized by the project institutes. Interested students enroll for the entrepreneurship education programme.
  • Students who enroll for entrepreneurship education courses in IHL are segmented in four categories - Enthusiasts, Wannapreneurs, Practicing Entrepreneurs and High-Performers.
  • This fee may be charged either at the time of enrollment or at the beginning of each semester.
  • Each student is given a secure login (user-id and password) to access the LMS platform and the various course offerings.
  • Students are also given course material at the time of enrolment.

Assessment & Certification + On boarding on the online marketplace

  • Assessment – online and/or written-takes place as per schedule/ calendar prescribed by the National E-hub. Periodic online/ written tests will be conducted to ensure continuous evaluation of the students.
  • After assessment, students a certificate of participation will be given by National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD).
  • Students interested in setting up their enterprise will be on-boarded by the Project Institute.
